01 — The challenge and context

Overcoming generic dairy tropes by building a brand platform around strict quality control and full-cycle accountability.

While consumers traditionally associate dairy quality with idealistic images of sunny farms, real quality depends on rigorous technology, premium raw ingredients, and unbroken cold-chain distribution. When retail giant X5 Group partnered with the high-tech Nesvizh Baby Food Plant to launch a new dairy venture, they established a rare, fully integrated business model. By uniting high-grade production with direct retail logistics, the joint venture had total control over the entire supply chain.

The strategic challenge was turning this end-to-end control into a compelling consumer promise. To stand out in a saturated category, the new brand needed to communicate this complete farm-to-shelf ownership as an authentic mark of quality. Mildberry was tasked with creating the brand concept, communication strategy, visual identity, and packaging design for Verhovye.

02 — What we did

Defining a brand strategy centered on "The Technology of Responsibility" and elevating the people behind the product.

Mildberry built the Verhovye platform around total supply-chain accountability, positioning responsibility as a technological standard in its own right.

01

Framing responsibility as a technologyBrand Strategy & Platform

We anchored the strategic foundation in a simple truth: technology alone doesn't guarantee quality—people and their standards do. We defined the brand's core DNA as "The Technology of Responsibility," uniting farmers, plant operators, and retail logistics under a single promise of strict, end-to-end control from farm to shelf.

02

Making supply chain heroes the protagonistsCommunication System

We created a flexible, story-driven communication framework centered on the hero line: "Responsibility at every step of the way." The system brings the real people behind the process—farmers, plant technicians, and logistics teams—to the forefront, allowing the brand to easily adapt contextual messaging across advertising, digital touchpoints, and campaign assets.

03

Translating control into everyday trustIdentity & Packaging Design

We developed the visual identity and packaging design to express both human care and modern reliability. Using a distinctive turquoise palette anchored by watercolor graphics, rustic textures, and an approachable typography style, the visual system delivers high shelf visibility while maintaining a friendly, authentic feel.

03 — The outcome

A distinctive brand positioning that established Verhovye as a trusted, high-quality staple in national retail.

Mildberry gave X5 Group and Nesvizh Baby Food Plant a powerful, scalable brand identity that clearly communicated the unique advantages of their joint venture. By reframing supply chain control as an emotional and functional promise, Verhovye established immediate credibility with health-conscious families. The platform provided a unified voice across packaging, retail media, and advertising, proving that true transparency and shared responsibility are the ultimate drivers of consumer trust in the modern dairy category.
